The other day Reilly said the cutest thing to Tim. He asked
"When can Tovah be my mommy, not just my stepmommy?"
How cute? Tim said we would talk about it. It's something we've struggled with for a while, but since Reilly's mom is pretty much completely out of the picture, we may move towards letting Reilly call me mom, or at least mommy Tovah, or something. We initially didn't want to associate me as the same thing as his mom. We wanted him to know that even though she left, I am not going anywhere. We wanted a distinction between the two of us so he doesn't think that I'm going to do the same thing she did and disappear. but now enough time has passed and especially once Kermit is born and he is calling me mommy, it kind of makes sense for Reilly to call my mommy too. Something to think about. We'll see.

My dream is that one day Steph will do the right thing and sign away all her rights (to all her kids and the ultimate dream is that she gets sterilized and stops making kids) and you can really be Reilly's Mom and adopt him :)
